I spent two unforgettable years living in Alexandria, Virginia and completely fell in love with the city— especially the charm of Old Town. Wandering the cobblestone streets of the historic district was one of my favourite things to do. Beautifully restored 18th-century row homes line every block, each one unique and full of character. It felt like stepping back in time: everything was quaint and peaceful. The perfect hideaway. You can walk and bike everywhere.

My weekends were often spent in Middleburg— renowned for it’s rolling countryside, horses, and wineries. I’d browse antique shops, share laughs with locals at the Side Saddle Cafe, and cap off the day with bonfire evenings at the Salamander equestrian resort.

There’s a special kind of freedom that comes with life in the country. That’s what has led me back to the horse world I’ve always adored. I look forward to getting back in the saddle again— my ride of choice being the elegant American Saddlebred.

Ill also be spending more time back East and am looking to meet new benefactors in DC, Virginia, Philadelphia, New York, and Boston for drinks, breakfast, lunch, and dinner dates.
